The 2025 wine-growing year in the Castelo Rodrigo subregion of Beira Interior was marked by atypical weather conditions, which were nonetheless favorable for organic wine production. Rainfall was heavily concentrated in the first months of the year; January, February, and March; which contributed to a good water reserve in the soil and significantly reduced the risk of disease during the critical phase of the growing season, promoting the health of the grapes.
