Beira Interior Regional Wine Commission (CVRBI) is the official organisation responsible for certifying, regulating and promoting wines produced in the Beira Interior region. It ensures the authenticity, quality and territorial identity of these wines.
WHO WE ARE
Beira Interior Regional Wine Commission (CVRBI) represents the interests of its members, including wine producers and other stakeholders in the wine sector, by ensuring strict compliance with the certification procedures established for wines bearing the Beira Interior Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and the Terras da Beira Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
As a recognised certifying authority, the CVRBI promotes the sustainable development of viticulture in the region and spearheads the national and international marketing strategy for Beira Interior wines.

Mission: To regulate and certify wine production in the Beira Interior region, ensuring the quality and authenticity of its wines while promoting the territory, its producers, and its wine heritage.
Vision: To establish Beira Interior as a benchmark region for high-altitude wines, preserving its viticultural diversity and encouraging sustainable and innovative practices.
