Crafted from vineyards over 90 years old, this wine brings together traditional Beira Interior grape varieties such as Trincadeira Preta, Jaen, Rufete and Marufo, ensuring the region’s authentic character. A wine to enjoy in good company, with bottles worth cellaring to open over the coming years. Hand-harvested into 15?kg crates. Total destemming and gentle crushing, followed by prolonged maceration. Aged in new and used French oak barrels, with natural clarification aided by the sharp winter cold of the Serra da Estrela.

It shows an intense ruby colour. On the nose, it reveals notes of red fruits, wild herbs and a subtle smoky character. Good volume on the palate, with velvety tannins and a pleasant freshness, characteristic of the natural acidity of wines from Cova da Beira. The aromatic profile is striking and complex, with the oak notes perfectly integrated.
Serve at 16-18 ºC
