A region shaped by the Gardunha and Estrela mountain ranges, with the Cova da Beira nestled between them. Adega 23 lies at the southern edge of Beira Interior, between the the Serra da Gardunha and the Tagus River. From its terrace, the Serra de São Mamede comes into view. Adega 23 is the southernmost winery and vineyard in the vast and diverse Beira Interior region. Portugal is characterised by an extraordinary variety of landscapes – rarely does such diversity exist within such a small area. Vinification – Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control at 26?°C.
