As evidence, a bronze statuette depicting a male figure carrying a basket, dated to the 2nd century CE, was discovered in the Fundão area. Adega do Fundão adopted this image as its institutional symbol. We believe that selecting the finest old vineyards in the region and carefully choosing the grape varieties that excelled in each harvest has allowed us to achieve the unique identity and character expressed in this exclusive PRIVATE SELECTION edition.
