Mediterranean climate with some continental influence. Lithosols of granitic origin with a light texture and low organic matter. The Síria and Riesling grape varieties, vinified in the style of red wines with full skin contact during fermentation, produce a golden-coloured wine, full-bodied and intensely flavoured, where the acidity brings perfect balance to the overall profile. Ageing in barrel has added further sophistication to both aroma and flavour. Hand-harvested into 15?kg crates. Reception with full destemming and gentle crushing, followed by extended maceration. Ageing in new and used French oak barrels with natural clarification aided by the sharp winter cold of the Serra da Estrela.
