A single-varietal red made from an ancestral grape variety of the Beira Interior vineyards. Marufo is an old, almost maternal, enigmatic and demanding variety. With it, we have been able to produce pale ruby wines that are clean and bright and, when young like this one, retain the delicate aromas and flavours characteristic of the grape and its must.

A fresh, smooth wine on the palate, with suggestions of lightly ripe raspberry and blueberry, and a gentle balsamic-herbal finish. An original and disarming wine – without ever trying to be – breaking away from preconceived stereotypes. Pure grape character on the nose and palate, with an unmistakable sense of identity.
