Barroca da Malhada is a historic estate located in Beira Interior, the most mountainous region of Portugal. Once belonging to the Viscounts of Tinalhas, its origins trace back to the Middle Ages. With 5 hectares of vineyards planted on clay-sandy soils, the estate produces artisanal wines through low-intervention winemaking, organic vineyard management and biodynamic practices. Aged 80% in stainless steel tanks, 10% in first-use Portuguese oak barrels and 10% in amphora for eight months. Fermented at low temperatures, with regular bâtonnage and extended ageing on fine lees.

Tasting Notes
A gastronomic white, structured and complex. Lemon-yellow in colour. On the nose, it is remarkably rich, with layered aromas: primary fruit at the forefront, followed by the toasty character of the barrel and the earthy nuance of the amphora.
On the palate, the acidity is outstanding. The layers of flavour are perfectly aligned, making this an exceptional wine.
A truly versatile white, equally suited to meat, fish or even simple tapas.
