Produced in the countryside of Castelo Branco, where the mountains give way to the plains, on deep but low-fertility soils that provide the ideal environment for growing exceptional grapes, vinified with a minimalist approach. Hand-harvested into 15?kg crates. Full destemming and gentle crushing on reception, followed by extended maceration. Ageing in new and used French oak barrels with natural clarification aided by the sharp winter cold of the Serra da Estrela.
