From a vineyard plot planted in the parish of Vermiosa, in the Castelo Rodrigo sub-region on the Beira Interior plateau, on granite soils at an altitude of 750 metres.
Hand-harvested, crushed without destemming. Fermented in 500-litre barrels.
Ageing with stirring of the lees – “batonnage” – until bottling.
