One of Beira Interior’s most iconic wines, recognised for its consistency and for the national and international awards it has received. The blend is led predominantly by Touriga Nacional from our oldest vineyards, to which we add Tinta Roriz and Castelão. The grapes were vinified in our winery next to the vineyard in Capinha, Fundão, in the valley between Serra da Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, in the heart of Cova da Beira. The character of our terroir – schist soils, south-facing vineyards and an altitude of almost 500 metres – combined with pre-fermentation maceration, rigorous temperature-controlled vinification and refinement in French oak, results in a gastronomic wine full of personality and authentic Beira character.
