Vines located in the parish of Almofala, in the Castelo Rodrigo sub-region, within the Douro International Natural Park. A region with a continental Mediterranean climate and soils of schist and sandstone. Vineyards planted at an average altitude of 650 m. Vinified from organically grown grapes with prolonged skin maceration, giving the wine structure and ageing potential. Aged in French oak. A naturally stabilised wine, which may develop sediment over time.
