Created in 2008, the Casa Agrícola Cova da Raposa, Lda., is a family business that aims to show a little about the philosophy of the region and the excellence of the Beira Interior, implementing a very personal stamp on the wines of the sub- region of Pinhel, where the vineyards are located. Headquartered in the parish of Pala (municipality of Pinhel), being already a family of winegrowers, the need to implement a brand of its own arises essentially from the quality of the raw material. The approximately 9 hectares translate into a production that justifies the view of agriculture from the side of creation and transformation, and it is no longer just a grape producer.
The Pombo Bravo brand, has several references between red, white and rosé wines. The oenology is in charge of Patrícia Santos and the wines reflect the region, the grape variety, the simplicity and the identity of the region, where the terroir of the Pinhel sub-region is always the focus of the wines produced. The 100% Syria stands out, the most widely planted grape variety in the region, this grape variety produces the great white wines of the Beira Interior. This wine reflects the altitude, the freshness of the mountain and the complexity of the region. The blend white wine, also has Syria in the blend and also has the Fernão Pires grape variety, imparting some texture and warmth to this white wine. In the red wines, stand out the 100% Touriga Nacional with barrel aging and a blend of Touriga Nacional and Syrah, fresh and elegant. The Casa Agrícola and the Pombo Bravo Wines are the journey to the freshness of the mountain and the simplicity of the flavors.
