Vine growing and winemaking are a proud and long-standing tradition for the Ferraz family. Using grapes from the small vineyard parcel in Vale do Forno – which lends the wine its name – together with grapes from the Cabecinhos parcel on the opposite side of the valley at a similar altitude, this special wine has been crafted from the family’s "oldest vineyards and most traditional grape varieties": Rufete, Marufo and Baga. It stands as a tribute to the unwavering sense of belonging to this place – to its history, to the memory of those who came before, and to all who continue to shape the path of the Ferraz family today Vine Age / Altitude Around 10 years old, west-facing exposure at 700 m altitude.
