Crafted from organically grown field-blend grapes, hand-harvested from the most emblematic vineyard parcel at Quinta do Cardo. This is a wine of great complexity and minerality, with elegant citrus nuances, very fine acidity and notable freshness and presence. Quinta do Cardo is the most historic wine estate in the Beira Interior region, located between the protected landscape of the Douro International Reserve and the historic village of Castelo Rodrigo, at an altitude of around 750 metres. Its 180 hectares include forest, cork oak groves and about 80 hectares of vineyards, certified organic since 2009. The estate is a carefully preserved ecosystem that promotes biodiversity and the development of native flora and fauna, contributing to the creation of authentic wines with a strong sense of terroir.
