Produced exclusively from Fernão Pires grapes, sourced from vineyards in the Pinhel sub-region of Beira Interior, an area marked by low temperatures and relatively high rainfall. These Pala-Pinhel vineyards in Beira Alta give the wine its distinctive personality, shaped by the region’s cool climate and naturally vibrant acidity. The grapes are hand-harvested into 20 kg crates to ensure they remain intact and protected from oxidation, with no skin rupture prior to pressing at the winery. The wine is only lightly filtered.

In the glass, Rosa da Mata shows a yellow-green hue, reflecting its ageing in wood. On the nose, it reveals an exuberant floral perfume, with notes of white rose, hints of tangerine and lime, and pronounced freshness. Fernão Pires is known for its aromatic intensity, which is clearly expressed in this wine. On the palate, it gains volume, revealing elegant structure.

Serve at approximately 7 °C.
