Selected grapes from Touriga Nacional, Aragonês, Castelão and Rufete, vinified at the winery in Capinha, Fundão, near the Gardunha valley and Serra da Estrela, in the heart of Cova da Beira. The vineyards are planted on granitic and clay-limestone soils at an altitude of around 500 m. Traditional winemaking methods are used. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature up to 28?°C for 8-10 days, followed by a light post-fermentation maceration. Aged for 6 months in French and American oak.

Clear appearance, with a concentrated ruby colour and garnet hues. The aroma is delicate yet expressive, showing intense notes of plum and blackberry, with hints of fine vanilla and dark chocolate.

Round and full-bodied on the palate, with well-integrated, mature tannins. The finish is long and elegant.

Serve at 16-18?°C.
