Barroca da Malhada is a historic estate located in Beira Interior, the most mountainous region of Portugal. Once belonging to the Viscounts of Tinalhas, its origins trace back to the Middle Ages. With 5 hectares of vineyards planted on clay-sandy soils, the estate produces artisanal wines through low-intervention winemaking, organic vineyard management and biodynamic practices. This is an artisanal wine, hand-harvested and fermented in the cellar. Ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes
A red with a fresher profile. Deep in colour yet very clean and pure on the nose.
The perfect companion for uncomplicated moments – a wine you don’t need to overthink, because the pleasure it delivers with each sip is its defining trait.
Aromatically rich and driven by fresh red fruit, with a silky texture on the palate.
It pairs well with simple dishes, tapas, or simply light conversation and good company.
