Vineyard cultivation and wine production are undeniably a tradition of the century-old Ferraz family. The family owns approximately 20 ha of vineyards, of which about 5 ha are located in the parish of Horta do Douro, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa, in the heart of the Upper Douro, and the remaining 15 ha in Vale Flor, a centuries-old parish in the municipality of Mêda that belongs to the Beira Interior Wine Region with a Regulated Protected Designation of Origin.

Age/Altitude of the Vineyards: About 10 years old, with a west-facing exposure at an altitude of 700 m. Produced in-house and sourced exclusively from the plot we call Vila Maior.

Food Pairing: Spicy oven-roasted meats and fish, or grilled fatty fish.
