The vineyards, located at a unique altitude (700-750 metres), bring together the region’s characteristic varieties and comprise three plots with distinct profiles: Alvandeira, with clay-loam soils; Souto, with transitional granite-schist soils; and Lameiras, with granite and quartz. Organic production, a terroir steeped in history, and the setting between the Douro, Côa and Águeda rivers give the wines from this estate a truly unique profile. This late-harvest wine is made from a careful selection of Síria grapes affected by Botrytis cinerea (noble rot). Gentle pressing and fermentation in French oak barrels over 8 months, followed by a further 20 months of ageing.

27,30€

A wine full of character and personality. On the nose, it is highly complex and rich, with notes of candied fruit, orange blossom, honey, and a delicate volatile lift (vinagrinho). On the palate, it offers a rich, full-bodied balance of sweetness and acidity.
Serve at 7-8 °C.
