Following its recent participation in ProWine São Paulo, the Beira Interior Regional Wine Commission (CVRBI) will be present in four European markets (the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Poland) during October and November, as part of a joint promotional project (COMPETE) with CVR Tejo. The joint agenda includes events in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (26 October); Ghent, Belgium (27 October); Berlin, Germany (18 November); and Warsaw, Poland (22 and 23 November).
Alongside these initiatives, CVRBI will participate in the Daejeon International Wine Expo, taking place from 6 to 8 November 2026 in Daejeon, South Korea. With eight wine producers taking part, this event will provide an opportunity to strengthen the presence of Beira Interior wines in this market. This initiative will be carried out in partnership with CV Bairrada.
These initiatives reflect a collaborative approach between wine regions, promoting each territory's unique identity while combining efforts to reach new markets and increase the international visibility of Portuguese wines.
Through these initiatives, the Beira Interior Regional Wine Commission continues its work to promote its producers and the region's wines, strengthening their presence in international markets and fostering connections with new markets, audiences and industry professionals. The President of CVR Beira Interior stated: “In the face of an adverse international and domestic climate, participation in these markets is particularly important for Beira Interior to continue strengthening its position and raising its profile internationally.”
