AJF Selected Wines was created by two brothers, João and Alexandre, born from their passion for Portuguese wines and rooted in a family tradition that goes back four generations.

With this project, João and Alexandre combine their family traditions in wine production with innovative proposals that span Portugal’s different wine regions, inviting the world to understand and appreciate Portuguese wine in its various profiles, shaped by diverse terroirs and indigenous grape varieties.

João and Alexandre are descendants of one of the three branches of the Magalhães family that have always lived in the Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro region, just like the navigator Fernão Magalhães.
